Clean Room Inspection Services
URS Testing Laboratory LLC is well known in the market since 2014 for providing its value-added and ISO 17020 accredited services. We offer our services in a very professional manner in the field of food, water, environmental testing, and calibration at economic rates. Our moto is to provide our best services with cent percent client satisfaction, achieved through hard work, dedication and by strictly following the standard protocol.
URS Clean room inspection services is our recently added service and offers a wide variety of clean room and clean zone inspection/testing/certification services to various hospitals, clinics, fertility centres, pharmaceutical industries, manufacturing industries, data centres, laboratories, research centres etc. We have a team of well qualified and trained professionals/engineers and use advanced state of art equipment for executing the work in a very professional and skilful manner. We would be going for the ISO 17020 accreditation which would be accomplished shortly.
Clean Room is a specially constructed room which are regulated to control airborne particle concentrations to meet appropriate cleanliness levels as defined by ISO 14644. Clean Zone is a defined or dedicated space in which the concentration of airborne particles is controlled to specified limits or cleanliness levels.
URS Clean Room Inspection provides the following major test methods for measuring the performance of a cleanroom or associated controlled environment together with all associated structures, air treatment systems and services & utilities as per ISO 14644 & GMP standards.
Filter Integrity Test: This test is performed to verify the integrity of installed HEPA filters in the AHU and HVAC system if it is free from defects and leaks. The filter under test is challenged with an Aerosol, produced by mixing the output of the Laskin nozzle PAO generator with ambient air and is tested using the photometer for the relevant aerosol and the filter is scanned for leaks.
Air Velocity Test: The average air velocity in the occupied zone at a specified distance downstream of the entrance zones. It’s determined using air velocity meter.

Room Air Change Rate Verification Test: It is calculated by checking the total air flow using air capture hood and the volume of the room.

Airflow Direction & Visualization Test: It is carried out using pure water and smoke generator. This test is done to determine to confirm design and performance specification, to detect contamination. To observe the effect of unidirectional flow on clean room. During air flow visualization the smoke is dispersed via custom made sparge pipes at suitable locations. Video recording of the same is done.

Non-viable Particle Count Test unidirectional: The airborne particle count cleanliness classification test is performed to determine the actual particle count level within the facility at the time of the test using airborne particulate counter. From each room the sampling locations shall be selected based on the room volume and for each sampling location minimum one reading shall be performed. Record the actual sample volume and sampling time. Compare the recorded values with selected airborne particulate cleanliness classes for clean rooms and clean zone.

Room Recovery Rate Test: The recovery test is performed to determine the amount of time that is necessary for nonunidirectional cleanrooms or clean spaces and their systems to reach a specified steady state cleanliness level after a brief particle generation event within the clean space.

Room Differential Pressure Test: To verify the air pressure difference in each room are within pre-determined specified limits. The pressure difference between each individual clean room, clean zones and the connected adjacent room is measured using a digital manometer.

Room Temperature and Relative Humidity Test: To verify the air temperature and relative humidity levels are within the controlled limits over time as specified by the customer for the clean room area being tested using digital thermo-hygrometer.

Luminous Intensity Test: The illumination level is tested to determine the lighting level and uniformity meet the specified requirement. Calibrated digital lux meter is used for the same.

Sound Level Test: The sound level test shall be carried out to determine both the comfort and safety of the personnel and consideration of the background sound pressure level created in the environment. Calibrated Sound level meters are used for checking the sound pressure levels and equivalent noise in the test area.
